This olelongrooffan Is Furious!!

Dangumit.....

So last week my olestationbus went on to a new life down in the Space Coast area of the fine state of Florida....

Since then, this olelongrooffan has been searching High and Low for a replacement longroof to enjoy in my day to day life.

Well, if You Have Been Counting Along With Me, you know all of my vehicle choices need to be approved by my brother, thejeepjunkie.

I am confident you can agree with this olelongrooffan why I was understandably upset when he vetoed my choice of a Geo Metro micro longroof.

And again he, along with my older brother the Bus, as well as kashgar who, by the way, recommended an Intervention, declined the opportunity to purchase a sweet, vintage Yugo I spotted just yesterday.

Well, Counters, again thejeepjunkie has declined this olelongrooffan the chance to pick up this sweetheart.
Can you believe it?

I mean to tell you, how can you pass up a 1978 Peugeot 504 Diesel longroof?

Well, with thejeepjunkie having repair responsibility on every automotive purchase this olelongrooffan makes, I guess this olelongrooffan has to allow him that veto right.

But D*mn, without that sweet 504 in my world, it sure is hard to

Celebrate Life.

Well, you still need intervention with that Peugeot, but I give it two thumbs up.

Jeez, the only thing I remember about Peugeot is that Ellen had one and Dad hated it....and he loved French Cars.

I have two buddies who were on limited budgets who both ended up buying early 90s
Geo Metros and loved them. Both had driven them to California and back on less gas than just about any other car. Don't think they will help you pick up chicks but if you want a cheap reliable ride you can dent and ding without crying a about it later the metro it's not a bad choice... I think you should get VW microbus of the early sixties vintage, lack of heater and defrost that actually works won't be a big deal where you are at. Plus you won't have to worry about only being able to go 20mph up hills since it's flat there.... Lil Jim

Good call on the Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift. I like the VW bus but they offer no protection whatsoever for your legs. I've seen a guy involved in a head on collision and it took years and many surgeries to repair the crush injuries to his legs.
