Thanks Tallahassee

So in April 2008, the Florida Legislature, having absolutely nothing else to do, decided to outlaw "Truck Nutz". I mean, the economy is tanking, the beaches are eroding, the Forest is on fire, the Everglades are drying up and this is the only thing they need to worry about? Well..I will leave that decision to them..and, of course the Hooter's Girls

Jalopnik did a short blog about it, even quoting one Legislator who had a set on his truck. While I am not a huge fan of them, actually not a fan at all, it seems a bit of a stretch to ban them and offer a $20 fine as punishment!! Are these next?

Now I am fairly certain you all, yeah, all 3 of you who follow these ramblings!!, are wondering just what the h*ll do "Truck Nutz", their legality in the State of Florida, and the State Legislature have to do with the olelongrooffan.

Well you see, it is like this.

I am sick!! I mean it!! Seriously twisted, in a perverted sort of way. Always trying to stretch the Authority of The Man to the limit. Always looking for a way to draw you into my wickedness....

And sometimes I succeed...

And here is how....

The last few blogs I have posted were about thejeepjunkie hooking this olelongrooffan up with a killer pass to Speedweeks out at the World Center of Racing.

And, since the Florida Legislature has determined that "Truck Nutz" are no longer legal for display, I decided to get these... I know, I have old eyes, also...Hang in There for a moment...

If you were watching the Daytona 500, I am sure you saw Dale Jr. stopped for a penalty in the pits for stopping outside his pit box...remember? Well, in the background, while FOX was focused on the NASCAR official holding Jr. in place with his outstretched hand, did you notice the crew member in the background with the broom? Well, I did. Yeah those are the things I notice. Can't seem to YouTube it though, so maybe I am the only one....anyway, that Pit Dude was sweeping up all of the no longer needed lugnuts, removed from the #88 during that penalilized stop and I was able to snag a few of those just a bit later. I know it is difficult for these old eyes to see,

So I got a close up or two....

And now those #88 discarded pieces of that race car are now "Lug Nutz"on the olestationbus and the Florida Legislature be D*mned!!!

And I hope you will join me in just another way to "Get The Man" and

Celebrate Life!!
