It Is Tough Out There

In the local Pennysaver, published today, was an ad for a Section 8 Housing Inspector at the Daytona Housing Authority. Come by and pick up an application. So I did. While I was waiting for the elevator, four other guys came in and were waiting also. We all went to the fourth floor and all picked up applications. While waiting for the elevator to arrive again, we all started talking about the job and what we were doing. It turns out all four of these guys are laid off Building Inspectors from various local governments. Still gonna fill out and file that application though. Sure am glad our leaders tell us we aren't in a recession.
