2010 Daytona 500

So, last week this olelongrooffan did this blog about how spoiled I am with the free tickets I have received over time to the various events out at The World Center Of Racing.

Well this morning, my massive telephone system lit up with a call from thejeepjunkie.

"Whatcha doing longroof?"

"Just lounging around. You?"

"the Kid and I want to head out to the Track for a bit. Can we borrow your Pit Pass?"

"Yeah, jeepjunkie, it's on the dog house of the olestationbus. My camera is there too. Have fun."

"Thanks longroof."

And that was it until this olelongrooffan dropped by the Kid's garage earlier this afternoon, reviewed thejeepjunkie's blog about it, and watched the Daytona 500 through the first red flag and then the second. I left as the second red flag was thrown and rode a green stoplight ride all the way back to the Taj Mahal.

I then fixed me up some viddles while downloading these images from the cheap Polaroid thejeepjunkie and the Kid borrowed earlier today.

I am not really sure the reason of some of these images
except to note the crowds in the grassy area on the grandstands side of pit lane
as well as the crowds in the pit lane area
and this olelongrooffan saw these discs on those Goodyear Eagles, last week, for the first time.
And, of course Michael Waltrip's pit spot marker.
And the super cool new Goodyear hat thejeepjunkie got Mikey to autograph.
