Sometime after this olelongrooffan published in this post about how strange it was to see my image on By The Numbers, the Bus called and we chatted it up a bit.
He mentioned that, in his mind, this olelongrooffan was a handsome man. I took that as a compliment and when I mentioned it to my friend Kris, she said, "See, I told you so."
Well the Bus and I were talking about similar looks that run in our family.
In the above image, my Grandfather, Alphonse Charles Bansbach is talking to a young Bus and his Private RN at my folks 25th wedding anniversary way back in 1972.
In the image below, the Bus is on the left and to this olelongrooffan, he sure favors Alphonse.
Also captured in that image is another older brother, thehorsefarmer.
And this olelongrooffan sure thinks he resembles my Dad, TheGentlemanFarmer.
And in the image below is my Uncle Bill pictured with Aunt Ann at their wedding back in the day.
Well, this olelongrooffan thinks I resemble him in many ways, except for that gorgeous brunette on his arm.
My BigBrotherBob has a son whose name is Christopher. Chris and his beautiful wife, Catherine, have an equally beautiful daughter, Gracie.
They live up in Tennessee and they and this olelongrooffan only see each other every couple of years when they come down and visit BBB.
Now another older brother, the Bus has a son whom once was called Lil Jim but who this olelongrooffan now refers to as NotSoLilJim.
NotSoLilJim and his wife, Kristen, aka LilMom, are busy raising two boys and two girls.
Now the youngest boy in that branch of my family is Austin. He is a pretty funny LilDude and this olelongrooffan thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together a couple summers ago.
This olelongrooffan is not a huge facebook fan and although I do check it out, I rarely post anything on it.
After all, if anyone is interested in this olelongrooffan's status just check in here.
Well, anyway, last week Kris's wife, Cat, added me as a friend over there and I checked out her profile and came upon an image of Gracie that reminded my of my humorous nephew, Austin.
Does anyone else see the same set of Lee eyes and cheeks in the above and below image?
And that is one of the many reasons this olelongrooffan loves his kinfolk as I continue to
