Just For BBB

If you have been counting along with me, you know BBB bought the Kid's old go cart

and painted it up in a John Deere theme and even built a trailer to tow behind his tractor.

I just hope he keeps that tractor stock but I am afraid of what he will do when he sees What the Kid and I Saw Today.

Stay tuned for more posts coming soon.

Live At Belaire Plaza

So, the Kid, thejeepjunkie and the longroof are over at Belaire Plaza, live, 7:57 pm on Friday nite. It is a Zoo. Hummer H-3's, Old Cj5's, blown Camaro's, Econoline Pickups set up to drive backwards, Celebrate Life Magnets, Dubbed Red Wagons, Souped Up Late Model Camaros....I'll try and upload a video or two. Teeny Bopper Boys dancing to some crap rap, along with a MILF or two, sweet old VW buses and bugs....oh yeah, there goes a Toyota Prius....

Wish Ya'll were here.....

Orphans At The Rod Run

No, I am not talking about kids. At my advanced age, I have pretty much decided that I don't like kids who don't have the same last name as me.

I am talking about cars manufactured by automakers who have closed their doors. Hope next year's edition doesn't include any of the Detroit big 3.

This is a highly modified Checker. While predominately used as a taxicab, the Checker also produced a small number of luxury autos. While this appears to be one of the latter category, the addition of 4 wheel drive just doesn't get it for me.

A Triumph Stag of British origin. This one was factory built with a MOPAR engine. Only $7,500 and I think a great deal.

A old Plymouth and an Oldsmobile.

Morris Minor, also of British origin.

Triumph TR6.

Packard body but with modern underpinings. Saw this one several times and it is sweet.

Oldsmobile Toronado.

Austin Healey.

Studebaker Avanti

Studebaker Utility Truck.

Studebaker Lark Pickup, and yes, that is the factory bed on that truck.

Highly modified Studebaker Starliner. No two door wagons were built of this.

Another Studebaker pickup.

Several Studebaker Larks.

An old Willys wagon. When I was shooting this image, the Kid questioned, 'They still make Jeeps. Oh wait, Willys' the Kid knows his stuff about Willys and Jeeps.

A Plymouth Valiant.

Plymouth Barracuda.

And finally, an Oldsmobile Rocket 88.

With All Respect To the Bus

It is just to depressing for me to watch a Hitler parody about the housing market. Just hits a little to close to home.

I prefer this one.

A Cool Site

Even if all their stuff is half a continent away.

Check it out here.

Look Around

I did about 6-7 posts tonite so look on the older pages for some of the earlier posts.

Enjoy and I hope your Thanksgiving was great.

Looking forward to steak soup at #6's on Christmas Eve.

Til then.

Just For thejeepjunkie

Hey jeepjunkie, I didn't get an image of that plastic 71 Jeep CJ5 for $4,650 but I did get a shot of this old 68 Chevy Sportvan for $2,450. Oh to have The bus's or thehoresfarmer's toy budget, this one would be parked right next to the olestationbus tonite. Enjoy.

6 cylinder, Automatic, 78,xxx miles. No rust or dents. Cool old wooden cabinetry inside. Just a sweet olewindowvan.

Still prefer the olestationbus though. But if it sells this weekend? Maybe a new window van in the olelongroofan's future?
